About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Baking Formulation Technologist to join our Research & Development (R&D) team at Macquarie park.

You'll play a key role in supporting new product development (NPD), optimising baking formulations, and leveraging advanced ingredient technology to drive quality and efficiency across our baking portfolio in Australia & New Zealand.

What You'll Do

• Assist in ingredient technology innovation to enhance product performance.
• Conduct test baking, factory trials, and product validation.
• Support new product development and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation in SAP and other systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience working in a product development or a technical role where you have developed strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and commercialisation experience.
• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• A technical mindset, and a passion for innovation in baking.
• A curious, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
