The Opportunity:
We are seeking an up-and-coming Product Technologist to join our team based at Macquarie park and support Ingredients and Product Information.
About the Role
As the Product Technologist (Ingredients & Product Information) you will be focused on providing systems and documentation support for:
- Ingredient approvals, technical artwork briefs, and product specification setup.
- Shelf-life monitoring to maintain ingredient quality and mitigate risks.
- Product imports and exports, ensuring adherence to regulatory, quality, and customer requirements.
- Technical servicing to address customer document and technical requests.
- Quality compliance, maintaining accurate records and documentation for all R&D processes.
This role emphasises strong record-keeping, process management, and the ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner for coordination with other functions.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A recent graduate with a tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, or Chemistry.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to planning, organisation, and documentation.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow into more independent responsibilities over time.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience in food quality systems, regulatory, product development (or relevant internships/placements) is advantageous.
