Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Hygiene Manager to lead the Technical Cleaning team to ensure the highest standards of GMP and hygiene across our Quality Bakers manufacturing site in East Tamaki.
As the Hygiene Manager you will manage the day-to-day of the cleaning team, oversee site cleaning processes and ensure documentation and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
- Develop and implement hygiene procedures across all areas of the site including training the team to ensure effective cleaning practices
- Manage external cleaning contractors and ensure work is completed and compliant with hygiene standards
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards
- Take ownership for monitoring and maintaining hygiene-related documentation and records
About You
In order to make this role a success we are looking for an individual with a background in industrial cleaning and experience in a Hygiene management role. Having worked in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry would be highly desirable.
Other experience and qualifications we are looking for include:
- Qualification in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field
- Certified in HACCP or similar hygiene standards
- Prior experience in conducting and managing internal audits and implementing corrective actions
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in hygiene management
