The position forms a part of the shared services leadership team with responsibilities to manage the BPO service provider, service levels across Shared Services and drive a portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives.

 

With primary responsibilities to manage overall Shared Services performance with the retained team and BPO provider, this role is critical to ensuring the ongoing success of Shared Services for Goodman Fielder. The Shared Services Governance and Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for managing the global contract with the BPO provider and monitor and drive performance overall with the shared services and broader business leadership team. 

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Manage budgets, BPO Spend, performance metrics and targets
  • Provide regular performance reporting and ensure the speedy resolution to performance issues
  • To manage the strategic relationships with the BPO provider ensuring that services are delivered as per the contract / budget
  • To provide strategic input to Finance to ensure resources are utilised effectively to improve the business on an ongoing basis
  • Exploit opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide robust reports and analysis to validate and enable decision making
  • Manage Business Outsource Provided (SLAs / metrics / budgets)
  • Provide efficient and useful financial information to support results understanding and decision making
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

 

  • Proven experience in working with / effectively managing external BPO providers to ensure highest standards of customer service (including contract management, performance measurement, issue resolution etc.)
  • Change agent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to think innovatively.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and extensive experience working with and managing BPOs
  • Experience working with global / off-shore teams
  • Excellent communication, influencing, collaboration and relationship building skills.  Have the ability to quickly form working relationships and gain credibility with senior management. 
  • Experience of managing large teams (likely shared services or finance operations – either captive or outsource) to deliver best in class results
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a demanding fast paced environment
