Based in our new North Sydney office, this position forms a part of the Group level Planning and Performance team, which provides support in planning, budgeting & forecasting, reporting and capital planning for the Group and Market business units in order to drive long term profitability. The Planning & Performance Analyst will provide financial support and expertise to the Goodman Fielder business focusing on the preparation of management accounts and reports, development and improvement of reporting processes, provision of business advice and the administration and development of information systems.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of Group Performance reports (monthly, quarterly & year-end), board papers, internal presentations and group executive presentations.
  • Provide ad-hoc modelling assistance, insights and recommendations where required.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process;
  • Pursue opportunities to improve month end processing through better utilization of GF systems (SAP / BPC / Business Objects).
  • Develop improvements in reporting including accessibility of reports and information.
  • Assist in improving master data management.
  • Support the Head of Planning & Performance in developing the Centre of Excellence function; standardisation of reporting operating rhythms across the markets, processes, templates, analytical tools and alignment of underlying master data across the Group.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivation and good organisation skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team
  • The ability to work under pressure and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Chartered Accountant qualifications
