Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager, the Stores Supervisor is ultimately responsible for the Raw Materials area of our large Moorebank bakery, ensuring the accurate and timely loading & unloading of trucks and receival of deliveries as per our SOPs.

 

Managing a small team of Forklift Operators, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Monitoring and recording of all deliveries in accordance to CP1
  • Be responsible for all inventory accuracy, undertaking all regular cycle counts, and reporting on stock-take variance
  • Maintain all documentation for product receival and traceability, including conducting incoming quality checks
  • Escalate any stock concerns including late or missed deliveries, missing documentation and low or out of stock materials
  • Manage stock transfers across the site, as well as interstate
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all health and safety measures

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

 

  • Ideally 3 – 5 years' experience within a similar role or function, preferably in a food manufacturing business
  • Computer literacy, strong numeracy skills, and prior experience working with SAP
  • A forklift licence, with the ability to be hands-on where required in order to support your team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people across all departments
  • A structured and organised work manner, as you meet numerous deadlines systematically
  • The ability to effectively manage and lead your team against set KPIs
