Our Opportunity

We are seeking someone to join our business as a Production Controller.  This is an integral role for our Site operation as you will be responsible for collating and reporting on production data as well as identifying and implementing process improvements for our Site.

As Production Controller you will build on our partnership between the Operation and Supply Chain functions and strive towards ensuring works orders, Bills of Materials and on floor inventory are accurate and maintained in a timely manner in SAP.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Meet and maintain data entry accuracy requirements
  • Support the provision of  accurate daily & weekly reports, on all production data collated
  • Ensure data entry timelines are achieved in order to keep usage variances to a minimum
  • Collate data on waste and ingredient usage
  • Ensure inventories are accurate
  • Monitor, report and investigate variances
  • Ensure SAP data is maintained in a timely and accurate manner for inventory transactions and postings
  • Recommend improvements in Bill of Materials and Cost of Goods, have these approved and then implement changes

About You

  • Experience in production scheduling and inventory management, a NCPICS qualification is desirable
  • Experience using SAP MRP modules and a knowledge of purchasing elements within SAP
  • Experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry is desirable
  • An ability to drive process improvement, combined with analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
