About the opportunity:

Across the business, we have an exciting growth strategy which you will be a significant contributor to. We are now looking for a dynamic, influential and passionate Logistics Team Member based in Moorebank. Reporting to the Team Manager you will be an integral member of the Garlic Bread team, responsible controlling movement for all raw materials and conducting regular stock takes to ensure a high level of accurate inventory records.

You will be responsible for:

  • Controlling movement for all raw materials, packaging, and consumable items
  • Organising movement and control for finished goods
  • Controlling  inventory write offs
  • Replenishing stock
  • Loading/unloading deliveries inbound and outbound
  • Conducting inventory counts 
  • Conducting quality inspections of goods received, looking at temperatures and/or damages
  • Operating a forklift
  • Using SAP for managing inventory records: goods receipting, stock take, goods transfers and writing off goods

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment, ideally within FMCG
  • Experience with inventory control and material handling
  • Forklift licence (essential)
  • SAP experience (or similar software)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for problem solving
  • An understanding of food manufacturing principles, as well as familiarity with HACCP and the Food Standards Code, will be seen as a distinct advantage
