About the opportunity:

We are currently recruiting a National Account Manager based at our head office in North Sydney to manage the Food Service Distributor Accounts. You will be an integral member of the team, responsible for delivering sales, market share and profit targets across our Distributor sector. This will involve extensive internal cross-functional communication and co-ordination, so strong external and internal relationship building skills are essential. The position reports to the National Business Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the National Business Manager, working in conjunction with State and Head Office teams
  • Deliver revenue, volume and margin targets by driving agreed account plans and channel strategy
  • Develop relationships and joint business plans across customer bases
  • Identify new Category opportunities and build plans for execution
  • Maintain and continuously improve customer relationship and service levels
  • Continually review the in-year plan and financial metrics, ensuring calendar year financial budget is met
  • Drive strategic initiatives and execute new product and category development successfully

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree qualified in relevant subject
  • 3+ years FMCG industry experience, ideally within Food Service
  • Strong commercial acumen and planning capability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High levels of tenacity and resilience, with a results orientated mentality
  • Ability to think creatively and present new proposals to add value
  • Computer literate with MS Office
