About the opportunity:

We value our people at Goodman Fielder and recognise that our success depends on our ability to attract and retain talented people. We are currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to join our Retail Bakery Field Sales Team in Western Australia.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager SA/WA/NT you will be you will be responsible for delivering the overall financial objectives for the Perth Metro and Regional areas through the management and co-ordination of a team of Independent Contractors responsible for the daily ordering, delivery and merchandising of daily fresh bakery products.  

You will also be responsible for helping to build and develop new and innovative categories within the retail bakery supermarket environment.


You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and mentoring Independent Contractors to drive and execute GF's strategic objectives
  • Delivering the overall financial objectives for the allocated region
  • Driving in-store executional excellence across all bakery customers
  • Ensuring the completion of agreed activation plans aligned to key strategic priorities and KPIs
  • Building effective internal and external business relationships
  • Achieving specific sales targets through direct customer engagement and selling
  • Building a high performance sales team culture within the Retail Bakery Field Sales Team


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Valid WA Driver's Licence (Tool of Trade provided)
  • Strong FMCG/Retail sales experience
  • People management and leadership experience
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter attitude with ability to use own initiative
  • Passion for the food industry and consumer goods
