About the opportunity:
Across the business, we have a growth strategy which you will be a significant contributor to. We are now looking for two highly personable, self-sufficient and passionate State Account Managers based in Sydney. The two regions which require management are Northern Beaches/North Coast and North West Sydney.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be an integral member of the Food Service team, responsible for driving and creating business in the Food Service industry through maintaining and building relationships with Distributors and End Users. You will be responsible for delivering sales targets through your Distributors by driving the agreed account plans and channel strategy. You will provide high customer service levels, identify new business with our core categories, and increase the availability of new and existing products.
You will be responsible for:
- Achieving sales targets
- Working collaboratively in as a team of State Account Managers, supported by the State Sales Manager
- Forecasting, budget planning, and profitability analysis to support growth in your region
- Developing and leveraging relationships with the Distributor networks and End Users
- Increasing ranging of the GF Food Service portfolio of Grocery and Fresh Bake products
- Attending trade shows and promoting relevant existing and newly launched food products
- Conducting business reviews and executing sales plans
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence (Tool of Trade vehicle provided)
- Experience within FMCG, Food Service highly regarded
- Experience in Food Technology, Chef or Baker roles highly regarded
- Proven track record of success with customer account management and sales
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Self-starter who uses own initiative to generate and secure new business
- A genuine interest and passion for the Food Service industry
