The Opportunity

At Goodman Fielder, we're transforming the way we work—and we're looking for an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to join our Auckland team. This 12-month fixed-term role will lead the successful delivery of business-critical IT projects that support our transformation goals across operations, supply chain, and customer experience.

As a key driver of change, you'll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with real business value.

This role offers a hybrid working model with the flexibility to work from home and collaborate in person with cross-functional teams and partners.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring business outcomes are achieved
• Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Drive scoping, planning, and execution of projects aligned to business priorities
• Monitor and manage project risks, budgets, timelines, and dependencies
• Champion collaboration and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle

About You

You're an organised, delivery-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. You bring a blend of strong project governance and practical leadership, able to translate technical detail into actionable outcomes.

You'll bring:

• 10+ years of experience delivering medium to large-scale IT or business projects
• Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capability
• Ability to lead teams through change with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Experience in Supply Chain transformation is a bonus
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery models
• Mandarin language skills are highly desirable but not essential
