About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and service-driven IT Support Team Lead to join our ANZ IT function. Based in Townsville, this is a critical leadership role responsible for the delivery of IT support and day-to-day technical services across Australia operations, with a focus on excellent customer experience and operational performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines deep technical capability with a proactive, people-first approach to IT service delivery. You'll oversee a high-performing team, work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement to ensure Wilmar's IT services are modern, reliable, and aligned to business needs.
Key Deliverables
Strategic Deliverables
- Lead continuous improvement reviews of established IT support processes.
- Champion a culture of service excellence and performance across the team.
Technical Deliverables
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues, coordinating timely and effective resolution.
- Lead and coach the ANZ EUC Support team to provide exceptional support across all business units.
- Manage end-user technologies including Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Citrix, VMware and cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure meeting rooms and workplace technologies are fit-for-purpose and maintained to a high standard.
- Oversee endpoint lifecycle management including standard operating environments and refresh programs.
- Ensure IT service standards and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Work collaboratively with ANZ IT and vendor partners to deliver on service level agreements.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a customer-focused IT support or service delivery role.
- Strong technical knowledge in End User Computing across enterprise environments.
- Previous leadership experience in a geographically dispersed organisation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, basic networking, and workplace collaboration technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and incident management skills.
