About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a National Project Manager to join our Group Engineering team and be critical in the development and execution of the national compliance capital program to deliver against Net Zero 2040, Seismic compliance, EPS replacement & trade waste reduction.
In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:
- Design and implement roadmaps for SBTi (Science Based Target Initiatives) Net Zero 2040, Seismic, EPS replacement, risk reduction & trade waste
- Preparation of initial feasibility studies for FEED and capital approvals.
- Support the 10 manufacturing sites with BCP's (Business Continuity Plans) & develop internal compliance frameworks and reporting procedures
- Prepare detailed project plans for brown and green field projects to cater low impact disruption to business operations
Note: Role is a 12-month fixed-term project. You can be based in Auckland, Palmerston North or Christchurch. There is expected travel to all 10 sites across NZ.
About You
In order to make this role a success, we are looking for a qualified Project Engineer or Manager with extensive experience in brown field Project Delivery preferably with a background in Civil, Environmental and Sustainability compliance.
Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include:
- An Engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation) is a must; a qualification in Project Management would be highly beneficial
- Strong cost management experience
- Experience in a FMCG Industry 4.0 site is advantageous
- The ability to lead a team, with the capability to lead through change & complexity
