About the Role

We are looking to appoint a Quality Manager to manage the end-to-end 3^rd Party Manufacturing and Supplier process. This role will involve working closely with our suppliers that supply our manufacturing sites across New Zealand as well as our 3^rd Party Manufacturers who work hard to create our brands to support Goodman Fielder's commitment to food safety and quality.

In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain good relationships with ingredient suppliers and be the first point of contact for all food safety and quality concerns.
• Raise the standards at suppliers by completing audits against the GFNZ standards and ensuring findings are resolved with strong CAPA's
• Communicate complaints and work closely with the supplier/3PM to ensure a through investigation is completed and actions to prevent recurrence are in place.
• Checking ingredient supplier paperwork and system set up

Note: This is a national role so travel across New Zealand is to be expected.  

About You

To make this role a success, we are looking for a Quality Manager with experience in managing processes at a national level, preferably with a background in FMCG manufacturing.

Experience across a mix of both wet and dry FMCG manufacturing will ensure you have the right experience to manage Goodman Fielder's 3PM's and Suppliers.

Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include:

• Previous experience in supplier management
• Experience in a Food Safety or Quality role with a solid understanding of Food Quality principles including GSFI standards
• Degree qualified in Science / Food Technology is ideal
• Food Safety and/or Quality qualifications would be beneficial (HACCP, TACCP&VACCP, Auditing etc)
