About the Role

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive HSE Coordinator to join our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Longburn, Palmerston North.

In this role, you will provide administrative and coordination support to the HSE function, working closely with site teams to ensure processes, systems, and documentation are well managed and up to date. You will play a key role in supporting site-wide initiatives, scheduling activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the HSE space.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the coordination and implementation of site improvement initiatives
• Organising and delivering site inductions and training sessions for employees and contractors
• Coordinating site walks, inspections, and follow-up actions
• Assisting with incident reporting processes, including documentation and basic reviews
• Managing and coordinating HSE Committee meetings, including scheduling and record keeping
• Maintaining documentation, registers, and administrative systems to ensure accuracy and compliance

About You

We're looking for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, site-based environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven administrative experience with strong coordination and multitasking abilities
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing systems and documentation
• A willingness to learn and build knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environmental processes
• Previous experience in an HSE or similar environment (beneficial but not essential)
• Exposure to risk assessments, procedures, or audits (advantageous but not required)
