The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our supportive and collaborative Payroll team based in Macquarie Park. This is a fixed-term contract through to December 2026, with flexible working options, including up to two days from home.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls across our Australian operations. Your attention to detail, understanding of payroll legislation, and ability to deliver a great employee experience will set you up for success.
What You'll Do
- Process end-to-end weekly and monthly salaried payrolls for our AU business
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and internal controls
- Provide timely and professional support to internal stakeholders and employees
- Maintain and update payroll records, reporting, and documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across payroll operations
About You
- Proven experience in end-to-end Australian payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Excel; SAP or Kronos experience is desirable
- Exposure to payroll improvement or systems projects would be an advantage
