About the opportunity:

We are looking for an Aseptic Engineer to take responsibility for he maintenance, efficiency, and cost effective management of our Tetra Pak machinery at our Meadow Fresh manufacturing site in Christchurch.

As the Aseptic specialist you will have overview of the creation, implementation, and embedding of continuous improvement initiatives to ensure site equipment reliability and efficiency.

In order to achieve these outcomes your key responsibilities will include: 

• Improve the reliability of Tetra Pak machinery including identifying, planning, and scheduling routine maintenance activities
• Identify problem areas and solves by analyzing top loss information from downtime, wastage, and quality figures
• Design and document automatic control systems including instrumentation and PLCs
• Perform root-cause analysis and fault finding on variable speed control drives

About you:

In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for an experienced engineer that has experience in maintaining Aseptic equipment and Tetra Pak plant equipment.

Experience and qualifications we would like to see include:

• Engineering degree and Trade Qualified Registered Electrician (current or previous Practicing License or equivalent)
• Strong root-cause analysis experience to deal with breakdowns in a timely fashion
• A commitment to Health & Safety, and experience in machinery guarding
• Tetra Pak training in the Maintenance of TBA/8, PT8, CAP30 Flex stream cap/Re cap TBA/19, CBP32, GE Fanuc Automation A3/Compact Flex, RSLogix 5000 Intermediate Rockwell Line Auto, A3 Flex
