Manufacturing Manager - Melbourne

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Manager to take full ownership of the manufacturing function at our Pampas site in Melbourne.

Leading a team of 4 direct reports, and as a key member of the site leadership team, you'll drive performance, build capability, and shape a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

• Drive operational performance across site structure, culture, and continuous improvement (OPx)
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that deliver productivity, efficiency and cost outcomes
• Ensure compliance across OH&S, environmental standards, GMP and BRC requirements
• Build and develop high-performing teams with a strong focus on accountability and engagement
• Optimise resources across labour, inventory, procurement and production planning
• Improve plant reliability through preventive maintenance, SCADA monitoring and fast issue resolution
• Partner with supply chain and logistics to ensure seamless end-to-end operations

About You

You're a hands-on, people-first leader who knows how to drive results and bring teams on the journey.

• Proven manufacturing leadership experience within food / FMCG environments
• Track record delivering results across safety, DIFOT, waste and cost reduction
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end value chain and how to unlock performance
• Demonstrated ability to lead through others and build capability at scale
• Experience in plant baking is advantageous — but mindset and leadership are key
• A natural communicator who can influence across all levels of the business
