The Opportunity:
We are looking for a National Business Manager to take ownership for leading the end-to-end strategy and delivering our executional plans for our customer partnership with Woolworths New Zealand.
Leading a team of National Account Managers across all categories, you will have responsibility for building a strong, strategic relationship with Woolworths NZ, to deliver Goodman Fielder's strategic goals around volume and margin.
In order to achieve this, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop a strategic sales plan that drives sustainable and profitable growth for Goodman Fielder and the customer.
- Drive a culture of high-performance in the team, enabling each National Account Manager to achieve strategic goals across their categories
- Consider long term strategic goals and short-term tactical levers to influence sales volume and profitability
- Continued improvements to the strategy and executional plans based on regular reporting in accordance with Woolworths NZ to optimise individual channel and overall account performance
About you
In order to make this role a success we are looking for a highly experienced Business Development or Account Management professional within the FMCG industry at either a National or Senior Managerial level.
Skillsets, experiences, and capabilities we are looking for include:
- Experience in leading and building a high-performance team in a complex sales environment
- A strong strategic mindset with the ability to take ownership for making commercial decisions in independent manner
- Exceptional commercial skills (comprehensive understanding of end-to-end P&L from Revenue to NPAT)
- Proven negotiation skills and a track record of negotiating high value supply agreements with the ability to influence stakeholders (internally and externally)
