The Opportunity
We have a newly created opportunity for a BPC Senior Consultant to join our team SAP team.
As the BPC Senior Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Overall delivery, design, specifications, test cases and test results, and all documentation of new solutions.
- Provide expert consulting services and solutions to internal Customer groups in designing, developing, and implementing BPC solutions.
- Contribute to ongoing support and continuous improvement activities
What you will do:
- Conduct business requirements gathering from users and develop and document functional specifications
- Proactively identify opportunities to utilise BPC and development to satisfy business requirements
- Prepare with required time, quality and completeness documentation of delivered solutions
- Execute projects in compliance with GFIT methodologies and governance processes
- Ensure compliance to standards and maintain adequate internal controls, operational Change Management processes, Incident Management processes and Problem Management processes
- Develop solutions within BPC
- Develop/Enhance/test solutions needed to meet business requirements
What you need:
- Proven industry experience in a similar role with
- A relevant Industry qualification from SAP vendors sort after
- Experience with S/4 Hana, SAP FICO or BW is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of all areas of BPC including consolidation, reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- BPC project implementation experience on at least two projects start-to-finish
- Understanding of interface points between BPC, BW, SAP and other data sources
- Good business acumen and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak to business representatives using their frames of reference and business language
