About the Role
We're on a journey to revolutionise our business, and we're looking for someone with a hunger for bringing our vision to life, who can think big and deliver fast. The sales Analyst position sits within the National Field Sales Operations team and at a macro level aims to provide analysis, insights and recommendations that drive sustainable growth across our Retail Baking business.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Optimise retail performance through analytical support using a range of different data sources
- Develop data based insights to guide decision making and to maximise profit at store level through optimising range, planogram space, off location compliance, daily placement levels, etc. (using tools eg Power BI and Tableau)
- Leverage your strong data and analytical skills to build effective field sales processes and tools that develop Field Sales Team capability and drive performance improvement
- Support the Retail Forecast Planner with analysis to deliver systems improvements i.e., improve seasonal event & promo. Planning and develop ordering efficiency.
- Provide analytical support for Key Customer ranging projects and trials
- Provide analytical support for Key Business projects and trials
- Conduct analysis and develop insights that help determine Field placement & execution strategies
- Utilise technology to improve central visibility of field work, and guide targeted strategic actions.
- Manage a range of KPIs across performance compliance and qualitative results, across contractor/store/category/product, and equip the Field Team with the right tools to manage these KPIs
What you need:
- Advanced reporting and development experience using Analytics tools (Tableau experience highly regarded)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- 2 - 3 years of experience as a Sales or Trade analyst i.e. proven track record in data mining and insights generation
- 2+ years FMCG (highly desirable)
- Ability to influence business decision making
- Experience in developing both business processes and supporting tools to lift people capability
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and remotely
