About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Facility Co-ordinator to join our Erskine Park site. In this role, you will perform in our maintenance and production areas. With a core focus on the health & safety culture here at GoodmanFielder, this role will also require you to follow health and safety procedures whilst carrying out a variety of tasks in the maintenance and production areas.
The shift pattern is as follows:
- Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm
You will be responsible for:
- Managing waste management tasks including waste control and discharge and is responsible for ensuring compliance to the appropriate regulatory requirements
- Coordination with waste contractors, performing operation and cleaning of facilities equipment and specialty areas including DAF Trade Waste Treatment, Wastewater Neutralization Systems, Tank farm & Unloading Bay, CIP, manage chemicals, replace filters relating to the required systems
- Perform rounds and take utility readings to maintain, update, and validate database systems. Operate and maintain DAF and water treatment plant.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with team members, production, and management; provide timely response, highlighting issues and follow-up
- Maintaining gardening, landscaping, and driveways to a high standard
- Cleaning and maintaining building structures
- Other adhoc facility services as advised time to time by line manager
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Computer skills, SAP, Excel, Word preferred but not essential
- Processed based risk assessment skills
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Forklift license is must for this position
- Hands on and can-do attitude
- Handyman skills
