About the Role
As an integral member of the Food Service, Field Sales team, this role will focus on developing new and existing business relationships with the Indian foodservice market, distributors, and wholesalers, while using market knowledge/insights to effectively increase market share of GF brands within the Indian Food Category.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with Indian supermarkets/wholesalers/restaurants/distributors in an agreed call cycle covering the Sydney metropolitan areas and some regional
- Maximising sales and expand market share along with building relationships with clients
- Overseeing the arrangement of stock and assembling promotional displays so that products are maximising sales potential
- Willing to expand your product knowledge of our extensive brand and ranges to effectively increase market share within the Indian food category
- Monitor and gain distribution into independently owned stores
About You
- Bilingual - Fluent in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali or any other South Asian languages to work with the target market
- 1+ years with Sales or Merchandising experience
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Knowledge of FMCG industry; candidate with a work history that involves communication with Indian supermarkets / independent will be at an advantage
- Excellent time management and professional presentation
- Current Driver's Licence
