Job Description

The Quality Manager is an integral member of the Erskine Park leadership team, providing leadership for Quality across both the Erskine park and Camelia sites. The Quality Manager will make a strong contribution to a high performing Leadership team and team culture within the Quality function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Quality: Drive adherence to GF standards, regulatory requirements, and quality parameters across the facility, including product testing and analysis.
- Manage Quality Systems: Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance through internal audits, management reviews, and HACCP meetings.
- Audit & Compliance: Host and manage external audits, develop strategies for successful outcomes, and approve all audit responses.
- Risk & Complaint Management: Investigate and resolve customer complaints within set timeframes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and manage food safety and quality risk mitigation plans.
- Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate daily product quality reviews, trend analysis, and implement site quality plans to maintain and improve standards.
- Hygiene & Pest Management: Ensure cleaning and hygiene compliance, and manage pest control programs to mitigate risks.
- New Product Development Support: Partner with Product Development to ensure new products and packaging meet quality and food safety requirements.
- Training & Development: Deploy and maintain mandatory quality training for all site employees.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Food Technology or a related Science discipline
- 5+ years' experience in a Quality Lead role within an FMCG environment
- Strong auditing expertise and knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage Quality Management Systems
- Experience in managing customer and consumer quality and food safety issues
- Exceptional communication and coaching ability
- Strong time management and project delivery skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability to drive continuous improvement
