About the Role

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently looking for a result driven Sales Account Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for all coordination and analysis associated with our Bakery and Grocery Accounts across various customer groups within the independent channel. It will include activities such as but not limited to; reporting, forecasting, promotion, pricing, scan data, and claims management.
Specifically you will
- Responsible for all coordination and analysis associated with the Bakery and Grocery categories specific to customer groups, including activities such as but not limited to; reporting, forecasting, promotion, pricing, sell in deck for key activation, scan data, and claims.
- Assist & support the National Account Managers (NAM) in the implementation and tracking of Joint Business Plan (JBP) category initiatives.
- Consistently review the in-year plan and financial metrics to provide learning to sales team based on risks and opportunities in order to meet calendar year financial budget
- Manage input & maintain accuracy and timelines for Field Team Promotional planner and Clash-grids Nationally
- Execute and track customer seasonal sales drivers to deliver incremental gross profit and Volume
- Partner with NAM to align and execute volume and NSV forecast, analyse variances to budget, and identify risks and opportunities
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce (or related)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a business analyst role
- Strong planning skills
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management (essential)
- Ability to develop strong relationships internally & externally
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated resilience and perseverance
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High attention to detail
- Continuous Improvement mindset
- FMCG / Retail trade understanding (advantageous)
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office essential)
- Working knowledge of SAP/Promax/Aztec/Nielsen/IRI (Advantageous)
