About the Role

As such, we are now looking for a result driven and ambitious Regional Sales Manager to deliver the overall financial objectives for the Adelaide Inner South Region.
As an integral member of the Field Sales team, you will be responsible for the management and development of a team of Independent Sales Contractors who are responsible for the daily ordering, delivery, merchandising and compliance of daily fresh bakery products. In your role, you will also be responsible for delivering profitable sales growth in the Independents channel through direct selling and in store execution of Goodman Fielder's full range of retail bakery and grocery products.
Territory Covers: Adelaide Inner South, Hills & Riverland/Mildura Region
Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor and train a team of Independent Sales Contractors to execute GF strategic objectives in all customer channels
- Drive in-store executional excellence across all bakery customers
- Lead and facilitate contractor meetings to set business priorities and manage field performance action plans
- Conduct performance management and disciplinary action of Independent Sales Contractor team as required
- Conduct business reviews with customers to align strategic objectives and to increase customer engagement.
- Develop and manage Business to Business relationships
- Increase business opportunities through various routes to markets
About You
- Relevant Experience – 3 years' FMCG sales experience with 2 years in people management, including working with new customers and building strong relationships quickly.
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Planning, Organisation & Resilience – Excellent planning and organisational capabilities, able to manage tight timelines, work under pressure, and adapt to ongoing business change with a growth mindset.
- Commercial & Operational Acumen – Solid understanding of end-to-end FMCG supply chain drivers, supported by strong analytical thinking and initiative as a self-starter.
- Technical & Practical Capability – Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and information systems, with a valid driver's licence and strong autonomy in day-to-day execution
