About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to work at our Erskine Park manufacturing site. You will become an integral member of the Erskine Park maintenance team, as a Shift Maintenance Fitter you will make a strong contribution to our high performing Operations team and team culture. You will provide high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable production levels and a high standard in engineering support.
The shift pattern available is afternoon shift:
Monday to Friday, 1.00pm - 9.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
- Carry out service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility, Prioritise all types of given work
- Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment
- Participate in all training as required by the company
- Effective reporting of any issues relating to company SH&E & QA policies
- Point of contact when attending a breakdown
Experience required:
- Mechanical trade certificate
- High level of technical and diagnostic skills
- Processed based risk assessment skills
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Full working rights in Australia
