About the Role
The Communications and Effectiveness lead plays a vital strategic and commercial role in driving effective investment behind our brand portfolios. As the key point of contact across cross-functional internal teams and agency partners, this role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive comms strategy across online and offline environments, while also supporting the optimisation of brand investment. This role requires a strong blend of strategic and analytical thinking, as well as commercial acumen to deliver exceptional brand experience and drive measurable business growth
Specifically you will:
- Lead the marketing communications, insights and measurement agency roster, optimising the agency and vendor mix to support business objectives, and optimise platform selection and process efficiencies – including sustainability roadmap considerations
- Partner with cross functional teams to drive seamless execution through the line to deliver business objectives, with particular focus on activation and media including digital
- Develop and execute against a clear Goodman Fielder digital and data acceleration roadmap vision and strategy
- Drive a measurement culture via continual evaluation and optimisation of performance leveraging data and insights tools (MMM, analytics, brand tracking, bespoke research, reporting) to effectively measure brand power and ROI
- Lead negotiations for paid media investments across all national media channels (TV, print, OOH, radio, digital), customer/retail media, social platforms and search efforts, in collaboration with media agencies
What you will need
- 7+ years marketing experience (client or agency) with a deep understanding of digital, social, mobile and data-smart marketing
- Experience in integrated communications strategy including equity building & shopper activation
- Demonstrated team builder and leader
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management (essential)
