Location: Longburn, Palmerston North
Role: Production Operator
Shift: Rotating 4 on 4 off roster 6am to 6:30pm

BEVERAGES DEPARTMENT
Production operating with Goodman Fielder involves overseeing and managing the manufacturing process to ensure that dairy products are created efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. This role typically includes tasks such as monitoring equipment, coordinating with different departments, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements.
Production operators are responsible for operating machinery used in the dairy manufacturing process. In Beverages we use bottle filling units that are essential for efficient packaging of milk products. Operators must be skilled in handling various types of machinery and be able to quickly address any mechanical issues that arise to prevent downtime and maintain productivity.
This role is physically demanding involving lifting and standing on your feet for extended periods so please be prepared. At GF, we foster a safety-first mindset amongst all team members this includes regular training, hazard assessments and proactive measures to prevent accidents.
