Our Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, a fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute team player to join our Grocery Foodstuffs channel in Auckland.  As Key Account Executive, you will support the Key Accounts team with developing and managing strategic relationships with our Foodstuffs partners, to drive business growth for all key stakeholders (both internal/external).

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Customer and Key stakeholder engagement
  • Account plan management
  • Execution of promotional programmes, submissions and financial accruals
  • Sales forecasting
  • Robust trade spend management
  • Analysing sales, tracking data and managing statistics through our promotional management systems.

 

About You

To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Sales / Account Management experience in FMCG
  • A knack for building customer relationships based on trust and your ability to identify opportunities
  • An ability to add value and drive strong and aligned business partnerships
  • Experience using Excel as a tool to analyse sales data and develop forecasts and price decisions
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional dependencies to provide optimal service to our customers
  • The aspiration to develop your career further in FMCG sales
