Our Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Development Technologies to join our high performing Research and Development Team.  Within this role you will be responsible for developing, documenting and implementing product solutions to meet specified business outcomes as directed.   Along with this you will build and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Operations and Technical staff to ensure project success and to build awareness of expectations and requirements. 


Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Participate in strategic planning workshops
  • Develop resource and technology plans
  • Ensure correct project documentation in place
  • Regular presentations to the appropriate functions
  • Contribute to R&D Continuous Improvement and Innovation programs
  • Ensure that NPD process is adhered to
  • Provide technical support to External Customers, Operations, Technical and Marketing


About You

To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Degree in Food Technology or Sciences
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Product Development
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Technical food or process skills
  • Sound financial skills
  • Technical development skills
  • Regulatory knowledge
  • Project management skills
