The Opportunity

We're seeking a proactive and commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Auckland-based Finance team. You'll play a key role in supporting our business with accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic financial advice to drive profitable growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and gain exposure to the broader value chain in one of NZ's leading FMCG businesses.

What You'll Do

• Deliver P&L modelling, month-end reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide insightful commentary and commercial support to the Dairy and Baking business units
• Partner with Commercial Managers to support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
• Support performance reviews and scenario modelling for strategic decision-making
• Ensure financial inputs and forecasts are robust, accurate, and aligned with business goals

About You

You're a curious and detail-driven finance professional with a passion for turning numbers into meaningful insights. You understand the pace and complexity of FMCG, and you're confident partnering with commercial teams to influence outcomes.

You'll bring:

• A few years experience in a commercial finance or FP&A role, ideally in FMCG or food manufacturing – Experience within Dairy or Baking is an added advantage!
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with strong reporting capabilities
• Solid stakeholder engagement experience and the ability to build relationships and influence through insight
• Experience with SAP and BPC systems is essential
• CA/CPA/CIMA qualified (or working towards)
• A strategic mindset with the ability to connect financial analysis to broader business outcomes
