Our Opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Senior Analyst to join our NZ Planning and Performance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is fantastic opportunity to join the team who are responsible for driving the Planning, Budgeting, & Forecasting, Management Information & Reporting and Capital Planning for Goodman Fielder's Group and Market Business units.  

Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Planning and Performance, this role will be primarily responsible for the Management Information and Reporting process whilst also ensuring the business has timely, accurate and meaningful financial information to drive decision making.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Management of the total business P&L for management reporting for total GFNZ
  • Support the delivery and co-ordination of the annual strategic planning, budget and monthly S&OP forecasting process
  • Production of monthly management reports
  • Manage the overall process and reporting of SG&A and headcount including planning, performance reviews, commentary and business partnering
  • Capital planning and reporting
  • Lead and support specific projects
  • BPC administrator for the market
  • Support the Performance and Planning team to ensure strong data integrity and alignment across the group
  • Drive and support continuous improvement across Planning and Performance

The successful applicant will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a similar FMCG environment role.
  • Commercially aware and understands the core business drivers
  • Robust analytical skills with financial modelling, strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture
  • High degree of familiarity and confidence working with systems and business intelligence tools (i.e. ERP systems)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel & Business Intelligence Tools
  • Exposure to SAP, BPC and project management highly desirable
