Our Opportunity
The Outbound Sales Representative is an integral member of the Outbound sales team and wider sales team. Reporting to the Outbound Telesales Supervisor, this role will responsible for their portfolio of customers in the Central North Island region, and alongside the field sales team and distribution network, work to develop the regional sales potential and growth. 
This role will execute all telephone sales activities in Central North Island region in line with the department's activity briefs, and contribute significantly and effectively to the growth objectives of the Route Food Service business and be Goodman Fielder's spokesperson for their customers.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
• Management of 8 weekly customer call cycle
• Executing telephone sales activities in line with department's briefs
• Work closely with field sales team and distribution network to develop the regions potential and growth
• Contribute effectively to growth objectives of our Route Food Service business 
• Maintaining strong relationships and high level of service to customers at all times
• Demonstrating excellent company awareness and product knowledge to our customers
• Using tact and initiative to achieve all targets and sales objectives
• Understanding customer requirements in order to drive existing sales and gain new business
• Actively contributing to the close team environment, sharing knowledge and collaborating to build a high performing team
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have:
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills 
• Commercial awareness and strong customer focus
• Previous phone sales experience would be a distinct advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong influencing skills with a positive and open style of communicating
• First rate time management and organizational ability
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
