We are currently looking for a Sensory Technologist to join us based at our North Ryde site with occasional travel to our North Sydney office. The overall purpose of this position is to assist in delivering a sensory program which supports the development of new and improved products and maintains the sensory integrity of the existing portfolio. This is a permanent full time role reporting into the Sensory Manager.

 

Specifically you will:

 

  • Be involved in cross functional teams to lead the sensory initiative for category projects
  • Apply relevant test methods to meet project and/or business requirements in a cost effective manner including coordinating external research where appropriate
  • Facilitate internal sensory evaluations reporting back with conclusions and recommendations
  • Prepare, execute and analyse the output from internal sensory evaluation programs
  • Maintain all sensory processes and procedures as part of the R&D NPD process
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all evaluations

 

Ideally the successful candidate will have:

 

  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management
  • Analytical and Problem Solving Experience
  • A passion for food
  • Understanding of the senses and how they all work together
  • Degree qualified
  • Advanced people and communication skills
