Our Opportunity

 

We have the opportunity to appoint an Optimisation Analyst to facilitate and support all optimisation strategic analysis across our Supply Chain based at our Auckland CBD head office.

 

Reporting to the Network Transformation Manager, this is an integral role that will provide strategic analysis to drive optimisation and operational performance within our supply chain.  This will include key projects across our distribution network, depot and warehousing sites. 

 

Key accountabilities of the role include:

 

  • To conduct regional transport fleet reviews as required to ensure cost efficiency and optimal configuration     
  • To own, maintain (and enhance where possible) all cost models associated to the GFNZ transport fleet
  • To conduct detailed regional reviews as required of the GFNZ depot and warehousing footprint
  • To own the relationship and all associated requirements with transport telemetric providers (e-road)
  • To consistently look for opportunities to enhance and improve supply chain processes and reporting 
  • The completion of data reviews and subsequent recommendations for change
  • Strive to automate and systemise processes and reporting wherever possible 

 

About You

 

Your subject matter expertise, ability to communicate complex data clearly and delivery to time and project specifications will be key to success.

 

To be successful in your application, you will have:

 

  • Experience in SAP BW & BI systems
  • Good understanding of the end to end supply chain process
  • Demonstrated analytical experience in supply chain, preferably logistics, warehousing and transport, will be advantageous
  • A strong analytical and numerical aptitude with advanced Excel / spread-sheeting skills
  • Transport management Systems (TMS) software experience essential
  • Understanding of optimisation logic and operational application
  • Sound communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels
